South to the Distillery
This ride to Brookings, Oregon and the Brandy Peak Distillery is a suggestion of a ride some folks might enjoy. It is not being formally organized, but some of you may want to put together your own group for this scenic ride. Or sneak away and go by yourself.
Ride to Brandy Peak Distillery and Brookings, Oregon
Brandy Creek Distillery is located outside Brookings, Oregon. Brookings is approximately 100 miles south of Coos Bay. You will ride 85 miles of the distance on highway 101, which hugs the Pacific Ocean. This is some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Allow about 2 1/2 hours riding time in each direction, with additional time to tour the distillery and to have lunch.

Brandy Creek Distillery
"This family-owned “micro-distillery” is located in the lush, rugged coastal forest outside the town of Brookings, Oregon, in "America's Wild Rivers Coast." It is one of but a handful of such distilleries in the United States.
Dedicated to the art of creating the finest brandies, the Nowlin family uses only the best fruits and grapes available. Ripened to peak flavor, these delicious fruits are carefully fermented and slowly distilled in wood fired pot stills to produce a drink that captures all of the natural flavors and aromas. No colorings or flavorings are added. The result is 100% pure spirits that are smooth, rich and aromatic.Come visit us and see the art of brandy making, take a tour our distillery, and sample the “fruits of our labor” in our tasting room.
Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 1-5 p.m. Open March 1st through the first week of January. Other times by appointment."
